Meteorology and Remote Sensing (MES)

The Section for Meteorology and Remote Sensing focuses on the study of boundary-layer meteorology and turbulence with emphasis on applications to wind energy and implements the research in experiments with industry, in standards, software and courses.

The research includes marine meteorology observations, data analysis and modelling at short and long time scales in the marine atmospheric boundary layer and coastal zones as well as wind measurement techniques, including Short and Long range WindScanner remote sensing methodologies.
