Summerschool Analysis, Design and Testing of Floating Offshore Wind Turbine Structures

This 8-day summer school will focus on the modelling and design process of floating support structures for offshore wind turbines. The summer school will take participants through the design process of floating wind turbine support structures, covering numerical and physical modelling fundamentals and state-of-the-art design tools and data analysis. Additional topics that will be covered include control strategies, tower vibration, mooring dynamics and the design of station-keeping systems.
